Homecooking Lisbon is a friendly and familiar recreational cooking school founded by us, a Portuguese couple born and raised in Lisbon.
As most Portuguese folks, we grew up knowing that a very important part of our lives takes place when we share wonderful moments around the dining table with our family and old & new friends.
This is probably why we have always been so passionate about food and cooking our favorite dishes from our rich gastronomy, but also from all over the world.
We are fortunate to have traveled to several countries around the world and had the opportunity to meet new people, to get to know new cultures and, of course, get a taste of the secrets of the local gastronomy. In fact, gastronomy takes a central place in our travels (as in our lives), both in Portugal and abroad. When available at our travel destinations, we always took cooking classes. And those were always great experiences and some of the best memories of our trips.
The experiences that we have gathered during the years and the passion we have over our culture and rich gastronomy pushed us to create Homecooking Lisbon.
At Homecooking Lisbon our goal is to allow our clients to experience unique, memorable and fun moments whilst learning about the Portuguese culture and gastronomy. To that purpose we have assembled a competent, dedicated and passionate team of chefs and instructors.
